

Data Coordinating Center (DCC)
The Data Coordinating Center (DCC), based at the University of Utah School of Medicine, provides a central repository for data generated by each of the participating Clinical Centers.
Role of the Data Coordinating Center (DCC)
The DCC works with all study investigators and research staff:
- to implement data collection standards
- to implement data analysis in order to ensure uniformity and quality of the data
- to monitor the safety and timely progress of the THAPCA Trials.
The DCC is responsible for statistical and clinical trial administration, data management including data analysis and database design, IT support and manuscript preparation.
The DCC includes a principal investigator, research administration staff, biostatisticians, programmers, consultants, and administrative support staff.
